At QCPA we recognize and respect the importance of maintaining the privacy of our customers. We do not sell, trade, disclose or give-away any information we may have on any of customers or members. Our servers employ industry standard security procedures to protect all our information from unauthorised access.

We collect information from you for the main purpose of processing and delivering your merchandise order or membership.

What information do we gather?
To ensure qcpa.org.au is a secure and safe website to process online transactions. In the membership account creation process and/or merchandise order we request your name, telephone number, email address, postal address, and other information set forth in the checkout page. Membership information is then stored on our server allowing you on your return visits to access the Members area, via entering your username & password.

Other information required in the Checkout procedure, such as billing address, payment and credit card information, all credit card transactions are processed in "real-time" via an online payment gateway - we do not store your credit card details on our website. If the products purchased and a gift, we require the recipients name and address for delivery.

You can order with complete confidence at shopbythebay.com.au, our e-commerce system uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) the industry standard for encryption technology used to create a secure transaction environment, provided by GeoTrust Quick SSL 128 bit Digital Security Certificate. This technology encrypts all the information you have entered prior to transmission through our online payment transaction gateway. This technology works best when the site is viewed using Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.

Changing Your Details
If you are a member you can make changes to your membership details by clicking on "Change my membership details " after logging into the Members area.
