The Queensland Care Providers Association Inc is a non-profit organization, which has been set up by Family Day Care Providers to co-ordinate, assist, backup, support and liaise on their behalf as they carry out their business of providing quality child care in a home based environment.
Specifically, the Association tries to provide care providers with -
- answers to queries
- suggestions and strategies on problem solving
- support in time of need and difficulty, and
- reference to other support agencies or official channels
- workshops and resources relevant to operating a FDC small business
- a voice representing care providers’ views and interests as a peak body with government agencies
